Luberon2 is a model implemented in Capsis (simulation platform for forestry growth / dynamics models). Luberon2 is a forest demo-genetic model to simulate the growth, resilience and evolution of monospecific stands (Cedar, Douglas fir, Silver fir, Norway spruce, Larch), in response to various scenarios of forestry practices, disturbance regimes and genetic diversity. Luberon2 integrates growth, survival, pollen and seed dispersal, and sexual reproduction processes. The adaptive genetic variability concerns vigor and sensitivity traits. Disturbance are simulated though their regime of impact on growth and survival: drought stress regimes and a density-dependent diffuse mortality disturbance are currently implemented. Luberon2 has a user-friendly graphical interface for general presentations or teaching and professional training sessions, and a script mode for complex simulation plans in research. The model is accessible upon request with individual support proposed for the user. More information on the model, including a user manual and reference publications on the Capsis platform https://capsis.cirad.fr/capsis/help_en/luberon2
