The Blob 
Meet the Blob - the heart of IN-SYLVA EUROPE's visual identity. This distinctive design element embodies our infrastructure's essence through its organic, bioinspired form. Like the interconnected ecosystems we study, the Blob symbolically connects diverse research domains with one goal: adapting European forests for the future.
Its vibrant green glow represents our cutting-edge technological capabilities, from state-of-the-art laboratories to advanced data centers, all dedicated to excellence in forest science.
The emblems
IN-SYLVA EUROPE's service architecture is organized into four distinct brands, each leveraging the familiar scientific nomenclature of "in situ," "in lab," and "in silico."
Each brand maintains its unique identity while operating under the unifying "IN-" prefix, creating a cohesive yet diverse ecosystem of forest research services. These distinct identities are represented through our four Emblems, each incorporating the signature Blob design to symbolize their integral connection to the IN-SYLVA EUROPE framework.
The newest addition to our brand family, IN-EDU, represents our commitment to education and knowledge sharing. Its emblem features an innovative design merging an organic brain shape with cloud elements, symbolizing the elevation of knowledge and the continuous growth of expertise in forest science.
